An ideal holiday base This year marks 100 years since the birth of Sidney Nolan, an inspired and prolific artist who used his art as a vehicle to express his ideas and philosophies. In an intimate exhibition in the Bundanon Homestead, a selection of his works from the Bundanon Trust Collection will be shown from June 10, 2017– January 28, 2018. The collection of his works highlights the range of mediums and diversity of image that he created. Nolan married Arthur Boyd’s youngest sister, Mary Boyd in 1978. Nolan and Boyd jointly bought the property called Eearie Park adjoining Bundanon in 1981. The Nolans visited almost annually for the next 10 years and worked alongside the Boyds to see the gift of Bundanon realised. Eearie Park now makes up part of the Bundanon Trust property. The Nolan 100 exhibition can be viewed when Bundanon Homestead is open to the public on Sundays 10.30am–4pm.
