Berry Shoes & Accessories is known for its extensive range of Crocs as well as a variety of brand names like Birkenstock and Taos. Sweet treats for both children and adults can be found in Berry at The Treat Factory in Old Creamery Lane. Now with two retail stores in the historic Old Central Creamery, sweet tooths can get their fix with a variety of chocolates, confectionery, preserves, sauces, dressings, syrups and chutneys. The Treat Factory offers tours, with groups welcome to visit anytime during business hours to explore the shop. Chocolate demonstrations are also available when booked. Children are catered for during school holidays with Chocolate Making Workshops. The classes include the opportunity for children to learn about the history of chocolate, explore and taste different varieties of chocolate, a chance to use the professional chocolate equipment and making a selection of treats using Belgian chocolate to take home. The Berry Community Craft Cottage is open daily and is manned by volunteers whose arts and crafts fill the shop. The store is home to a range of hand and homemade delights like jams, pickles, pottery, babywear, toys, cards, jewellery and more. After a long day’s shopping there are plenty of cafes and restaurants in the town to stop and enjoy a bite to eat. Next door artists from around the area gather at Muir House Gallery the fourth Sunday of every month, you can see them at their easels demonstrating their painting techniques and view their work in the newly renovated art space. The gallery open to the public on Fridays Saturdays and Sundays 10am until 4pm with free entry. Berry Country Fair (also known as Berry Market) has approximately 200 stalls at the showground selling handmade and hand-produced products, arts and crafts, locally grown vegetables and produce, collectables, books, plants, leather goods, clothing and many other interesting things. There is also an animal farm for the children and free entertainment throughout the market. It is held the first Sunday of the month (except in February) from 8am until 2.30pm.
