It embraces all the risk and surprise that painting in that way entails. This survey takes its title from one of his favourite Miles Davis albums. The term ‘in the round’ - normally applied to three- dimensional sculpture - has particular relevance to his work, which is concerned with the three-dimensional illusion in painting. Arthur Apanski - Anthropocene 3JUNE-16JULY The artist as witness examines the connection between consumer society and the sixth mass extinction - the times we are living in. Works produced from 2010 - 2017. Bill O’Donovan - Go Go Self and the City UNTIL 23 JULY Paintings and prints exploring the recurring motifs of the city, its vibrancy and daunting scale and the commodification of self. The work is supported by a selection of incidental work featuring sketches, prints, hand-made video and stitched together multimedia. John Bokor - The Source UNTIL 23 JULY Artist John Bokor ’s work transforms the mundane - the objects, interiors and landscapes of life - into vibrant, evocative, boldly coloured, multi-layered paintings that reveal that life may not be quite so ordinary. Indigenous Works From The Collection UNTIL 20 AUGUST Exploring identity and family connections including works by Danie Mellor, Christian Thompson and Caroline Oakley.
