South Coast Leisure Times : Summer 2016-2017
www.southcoastleisuretimes.com.au South Coast 45 Summer at Cupitt’s is all about kicking back on the sprawling lawn, sunset drinks overlooking Pigeon House Mountain and long, lazy lunches in the a la carte restaurant. There’s a lot to discover with a boutique winery, micro brewery, restaurant and fromagerie on-site, just five minutes from Ulladulla Harbour, tucked behind the hills of Milton. Join the Cupitt family on a walking tour around the farm to taste the award-winning wines and learn about the winemaking, brewing and cheesemaking processes taking place at their beautiful property. The Tour and Tasting experience starts in the vineyard, before heading to the barrel room, discreetly hidden under the hillside, then finishes with a tasting at the cellar door. Tours take about one hour and run Wednesday to Sunday at 11am. Cost is $20pp with bookings essential. Two of the newest additions at Cupitt’s are the micro brewery and fromagerie. Cupitt Craft Brewers has been operating since October 2014 with all beers single batch and brewed in the microbrewery on the property. A beer selection is available to sample Wednesday to Sunday. The Fromagerie handcrafts hard and soft cheeses on site, which can be enjoyed on the deck overlooking the vineyard with your favourite beer or wine. The on-site restaurant has a focus on local food. The culinary talents of head chef Russell Chinn ensure a visit to Cupitt’s Kitchen is one of the must-do options when visiting the region. The restaurant is open Wednesday to Sunday for lunch and dinner Friday and Saturday. Every Sunday there is free live music from 12.30pm. Tour and taste at Cupitt’s Summer at Cupitt’s is all about long, lazy lunches soaking in the view. Milton/Ulladulla AW3114355
