The museum grounds will come alive with a magical sound and light production. Special guest and internationally acknowledged digital media artist, Craig Walsh will work with local Indigenous artist Julie Freeman to bring her stories to life by projecting striking images onto the landscapes within the Museum reserve. In Art After Dark, the museum will be open and will be your last chance to see the SeeChange exhibitions on display, including Illuminate, The Mind and Times of Lesley Speed, Marine Debris and Marine Relics. There will be food stalls and a pop up bar. Dress warmly and bring a torch. The Mind and Times of Lesley Speed is on now until July 20. Part of the Shoalhaven Artist Series, this exhibition of selected works by the late Lesley Speed, showcases some of her best known works. Lesley was a Shoalhaven artist. In conjunction with Bundanon the museum will have Arthur Boyd’s The Lady and the Unicorn showing from July 22 to October 30. The vibrant town of Huskisson is just 15 minutes off the Princes Highway, perched on the shores of Jervis Bay. It’s a favourite destination for a day out or a short break. Overlooking the sparkling waters of the bay, the village offers alfresco cafes and activities such as snorkelling, diving, cycling, swimming, kayaking, golfing and cruising. There are plenty of parklands and playgrounds for the children and shopping for the grown-ups. The fashion boutiques and gift shops offer the best and latest at competitive prices. Huskisson is a great spot for activities like snorkelling. ‘Kiama’ will feature as part of the SeeChange closing ceremony at the Jervis Bay Maritime Museum.
