The Berry Community Activities Centre has organised a number of innovative attractions over the next few months. The gallery’s garage has been opened up as a Pop Up Gallery, which can be hired by community groups and individuals. An expression of interest is available via email, see the Muir House website, www.muirhouse.org.au. Here you will also find details of upcoming wine and cheese nights. The BCAC is able to support a number of community projects and groups through sales at the gallery. The gallery is located at 10 Prince Alfred Street and is open Fridays to Sundays from 10am until 4pm. The Pop Up Gallery is open every day it is booked, also from 10am until 4pm. The Berry Craft Cottage is just next door at 12 Prince Alfred street and within its walls buyers will find handmade goods – wooden toys, hand knitted baby clothes and rugs, jewellery, cards, wood work, pottery and pet toys. All proceeds go back to the community and charities. It is open seven days a week from 10am until 4pm. The Berry Markets (also known as Berry Country Fair) are run at the showground on the first Sunday of the month, except in February. There is something for everyone with up to 200 unique stalls. There are plenty of other interesting shops to visit around Berry, including Hedgehogs or Savannah Cafe where you can grab a bite and a drink and the well- known Treat Factory, with its chocolate and sweet delights.
