The gallery is the largest regional art museum in Australia and admission is free. ARTEXPRESS will show HSC student works until June 26. In July the Wollongong Art Gallery Watercolour Prizes 2016 will show from the 2nd until August 21, while Penny Harris’ Writing Poetry for the Miners Of El Cobre and Tori De Mestre’s Valley will show until July 17. Tania Maria Mastroianni, the Friends Resident Artist of 2015/16 and Jan Fieldsend’s The Nature Table will exhibit from July 23 to October 16. Science for school holidays Inspiring art on show School holidays are an exciting time at the Science Centre and Planetarium in North Wollongong and with shows, children’s workshops and interactive exhibitions over two floors, there is enough to keep everyone entertained for hours. The renovated exhibition space features some new exhibits as well as the return of some old favourites. Check out our new thermal imaging camera and see how you look.
