Anu, whose version of ‘My Island Home’ won the 1995 Australian Song of theYear Award, is one of Australia’s most acclaimed singers, and folk festival organisers are thrilled that she has agreed to perform at Kiama.Christine Anu has been a major figure in the Australian music industry for two decades, and her best- known song ‘My Island Home’ remains one of the great Indigenous anthems of this country. This year's festival program features two and a half days of folk, world, acoustic, Celtic, traditional, gypsy, blues and bluegrass music, as well as poetry, spoken word and dance.A host of headline acts will be announced in the lead-up to the event.
