Fractured Beauty, inves tigates disintegration in nature, societ y and object s and the beauty, poetry and positives which can be found from analysing fragments. Works by Lee Bethel, Cobi Cockburn, Amandine Faggoter, Aaron Fell-Fracasso, Paula Schiller Gowans, Madeleine Kelly, Nina Kourea, Andrew Netherwood,TeoTreloar and Nik Uzunovski. Steel City Sounds, curated by Warren Wheeler, explores 50 years of Wollongong’s rock ‘n’ roll heritage, and is a celebration of the culture of Wollongong’s live music scene. A combination of original ar t, phot ography, video, memorabilia, ins tallation, and most importantly music, to entice visitors to re-live their local music memories or discover a rich musical heritage for the very first time. Murrimul ll includes painting, weaving, ceramics, phot ography and shellwork by local and nationally significant Aboriginal artists.This collection exhibition explores the relationship to land, personal histories and provides an insight into a traditional way of life.
